Because heroes live here...Khalib 7. was coping with hardships at home and needed a positive and structured environment. United Way agency partner, Olivet Boys and Girls Club, became his "home away from home" and provided the consistency he needed, with staff and other club members becoming an extended family. Olivets provided a supportive environment where he could play games and sports with other kids and attend the after-school program. The club environment gave him tools and resources to build confidence and resiliency . Khalib has a brighter future thanks to Olivet and United Way.
