Because heroes live here Brianna and her children found themselves homeless and living at Opportunity House, a United Way agency partner, after escaping an abusive relationship. Despite her challenges she was focused on accomplishing her goals by working and attending school while her children were cared for at the Second Street Learning Center. Brianna now has an apartment, is continuing to work full time and plans to earn her nursing degree.
