Why did you join ELU? I joined ELU as a way to form new connections and get involved in our community. I never could’ve anticipated the opportunities and relationships that came to be as a result of stepping outside of my comfort zone and signing up for that first ELU event!
What have you learned from being in ELU? ELU has taught me so much about our community, its needs, and how we can work together to be the positive change.
What advice do you have for ELU members? I encourage you to consider joining us in spreading positive change to those in need in 2026! I hope to see you at a future event and would love to connect with you and help you on your community involvement journey!
Fun Fact: I am a lover of the outdoors with summer being my favorite time of year. I enjoy running, hiking, and golfing during the warmer months as well as escaping to the pool or the beach as often as I can.

Why do you continue to support ELU? Life can feel chaotic and uncertain at times, and when I find myself feeling that way, I like to lean on the things that bring joy and purpose to my life. ELU is one of those things… This group has consistently been my reminder of the good – of what is possible when people come together to support their community and each other.
Why should others continue to engage with ELU? The warmth, enthusiasm, and generosity of the people in this group is inspiring. Having an anchor like ELU allows members to make an impact, grow old connections, foster new friendships, and to be a small part of a positive and lasting change.
What are you excited about for ELU in 2026? I can’t wait to see everyone at upcoming events! I’m looking forward to connecting with more of my fellow ELU members in 2026. Here’s to another year of making a difference – one event, one connection at a time!
