Leaders United is an exclusive affinity group for individuals and couples who make annual gifts from $1,000 to $9,999. Along with helping to address our community’s most critical health and human service issues, members of Leaders United have access to year-round engagement opportunities, such as volunteer opportunities and program tours.
We are grateful for the overwhelming support of our 1,229 Leaders United members who contributed $2 million to the 2022 campaign. We are proud to acknowledge that 50% of our members are Loyal Contributors who have been giving to United Way for ten or more consecutive years. We greatly value their generosity.
The 2023 Kindness Matters Challenge Match
An $800,000 Challenge Match to Multiply Your Generosity
Maximize your impact! Become a new member of Leaders United with a first-time annual gift of $1,000 or more, and the entire gift is matched. What a powerful way to invest in our community and make a positive difference in the lives of Berks Countians.
As a current member of Leaders United, increase your annual gift to a new giving level, and the entire gift will be matched. For example, if your current gift is $1,000 and you increase your gift to $1,500, the entire $1,500 will be matched. Current members can also take advantage of the challenge match by increasing your annual gift within a level. For example, if your current gift is $2,000, and you increase your gift to $2,500, the additional $500 will be matched.
