Day of Caring: Berks County’s Largest Volunteer Event

In a single day, our community united to change lives across Berks

Day of Caring is our annual community-wide volunteer event, and this year was a massive success! On September 16th, large and small groups joined forces at various nonprofits across Berks and Reading.

The community came together to assist organizations such as Berks Encore, Dayspring Homes, the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, Opportunity House, and Safe Berks. Volunteers tackled a wide range of meaningful projects, including tech tutoring, painting, trail and building clean-up, and outdoor beautification, making a direct and lasting impact on these vital community nonprofits.
