To support this work, we are looking for a part-time team member who is a well-organized proactive professional who will demonstrate passion for the mission of United Way and play an integral administrative role supporting efforts to address the community’s toughest issues.

Do you want to learn more? These are the key responsibilities assigned to the role:

  • Lead grantee accountability process which includes review of vital documents such as financial statements to ensure good stewardship of dollars invested.
  • Coordination of multiple volunteers assisting in the accountability process
  • Support with reviewing and summarizing grant applications and follow-up documentation in grant management process
  • Provide community-facing representation of United Way and Ready.Set.READ! at various community meetings and other outreach events
  • Utilize a variety of tools and databases to schedule meetings, events and surveys
  • Assist with information and referral requests and greeting and supporting visitors

We are looking for an individual possessing:

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent plus four years of related experience, OR at least an associate degree plus 2-3 years of related experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or database usage
  • Highly desired: experience with community outreach or accounting, financial experience
