Domestic Violence Awareness Month Hygiene Drive
October is National Domestic Awareness Month. ELU members can organize a personal care drives to benefit local survivors of domestic violence within their own organizations. Taco Tuesday at Safe Berks- Tuesday, October 3 @ 4:30-6:30 pm

Kick Out Learning Loss with our Kickball Tournament Benefiting Ready.Set.READ! on Saturday, October 28 @ 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Ready.Set.Read! (RSR), managed by United Way of Berks County, boosts literacy skills among kids in Berks County. Join us for a kickball tournament, with team and individual registration options, where proceeds benefit the work of RSR. Kids aged 13+ are welcome to participate. Oakbrook Community Garden Fall Cleanup and Winter Prep- Saturday, November 11 @ 10:00 am-12:00 pm
ELU members partnered with United Way’s Oakbrook Collective Impact Council (OCIC) to build garden beds and clean Oakbrook Community Garden in 2021. We continue the partnership, by preparing the garden for winter. The garden provides food for residents in an area with limited resources and grocery stores.
