In a year filled with uncertainty and challenges, the people of Berks County proved once again that this community’s LIVE UNITED spirit is second-to-none by raising $10,502,825 for the 2020 annual Campaign.
“These past eight months have been like no other,” said Sue Perrotty, who co-chaired the campaign with her husband, Craig. “In the midst of hardship, we have realized our ties to each other and to our community are more important than ever. It’s heartening to see people and organizations come together to share a helping hand and ease the burdens of those in greatest need.”
“Today, we celebrate Berks County,” United Way President Tammy White said. “We are privileged to work with many special people and partners that make all of this possible, demonstrating our humanity as we take care of our neighbors.”
In addition to learning the results of this year’s campaign, some lucky donors also learned that they are winners of the 2020 Campaign incentives. The winners are:
