ELU’s mission is focused on engaging and empowering Emerging Leaders in Berks County to create purpose and improve lives through philanthropy and volunteerism.
If you’re an individual between the ages of 21 and 45 looking to make a difference in Berks County while furthering your own personal development, you’re in the right place!
Getting started is easy! Simply fill out the membership form and you will receive a welcome email within 24 hours. Please note that the minimum age for participation in ELU is 21. And, while there is no donation requirement to becoming a member, we suggest a gift of $5 per week to United Way.

Volunteer activities – improve our community through volunteer opportunities created exclusively for Emerging Leaders United. Opportunities exist for individuals, groups and families, ranging from working with children or seniors, to neighborhood improvement projects and much more
Socials with a purpose – expand your contacts and network with other emerging leaders in a fun, casual atmosphere while learning about a need in our community
