You’ll gain the skills and experience to serve in nonprofit leadership roles through hands-on training, volunteer opportunities, and clear pathways to serving on boards and committees across Berks County. It’s a gateway to personal development, career growth, and local networking.

Leadership United also gives you access to open board and committee positions throughout the community, helping you find opportunities that match your interests, strengths, and availability.

Become a Community Leader Leadership Berks is a comprehensive, nine-month program that develops local professionals into highly-skilled community leaders through an interactive curriculum and team-based nonprofit service projects.

BLUEPRINT FOR LEADERSHIP

Build Your Leadership SkillsBlueprint for Leadership is a training initiative that prepares individuals for leadership roles within local nonprofit boards and community organizations. It’s a six-week program with a series of workshops and mentoring opportunities designed to teach strategic leadership and governance skills.

Join the CommunityDesigned for the next generation of changemakers (ages 21–45), Emerging Leaders United (ELU) empowers you to connect, educate, and serve alongside a network of local professionals. From networking socials to impactful volunteer projects, ELU provides the perfect platform to grow personally and professionally while making a tangible difference.
