United Way of Berks County is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Administrative Coordinator to help power the daily operations of our President’s Office, Resource Development, and Volunteer Engagement & Training teams.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating people, processes, and priorities across departments, helping ensure that our mission moves forward with excellence. One critical aspect of the role is learning and leveraging our organizational database to support efficient, informed, and seamless operations.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly and professionally. Responsibilities include:
- Managing phones and welcoming visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Organizing schedules, meetings, and travel plans
- Supporting internal and external events and trainings
- Preparing polished emails, memos, reports, and presentations
- Keeping our filing systems and databases up-to-date
- Supporting volunteer activities and coordinating cross-departmental projects
- Providing top-notch administrative and logistical support across the board
What We’re Looking For:
You’re someone who:
- Has 3+ years of administrative experience
- Loves a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Is a Microsoft Office wizard (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Has top-notch communication and organizational skills
- Pays serious attention to detail (bonus points for killer proofreading!)
- Stays calm, courteous, and professional no matter what
- Enjoys working independently and with a team
- Is flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
High school diploma required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
